Welcome to the Love it Again Fashion Show, a vibrant celebration of sustainable fashion held at the Crich Glebe Community Centre. This event is a collaborative effort by the New Mills Fashion Activistas and Transition Crich, aimed at inspiring change and promoting an eco-friendly approach to style.
Event Highlights
Act 1: The Problem with Fast Fashion
Our journey begins with an eye-opening exploration of the fast fashion industry. This segment, featuring the New Mills collection, will shed light on the environmental and ethical issues associated with conventional fashion practices.
Interval: During the interval, enjoy refreshments and take the opportunity to participate in our interactive exhibits. Mingle with fellow attendees, share your thoughts on sustainable fashion, and perhaps swap a garment or two at our Clothes Swap.
Act 2: Slow-Down Solutions
In the second act, we turn our focus to solutions. New Mills Fashion Activistas and members of Crich Community will showcase a diverse range of pre-loved, vintage, upcycled, mended, inherited, and handmade clothing. See how creativity and sustainability intertwine to offer stylish alternatives to fast fashion.
Act 3: Creativity Collection
The final act will feature the Creativity Collection, highlighting innovative designs in sustainable sports apparel, Jasmine’s Scout Challenge outfit, and the inspiring Pledge Dress. These pieces demonstrate the potential of fashion to convey powerful messages and inspire change.

Dress your best in second-hand, vintage, homemade, or upcycled attire, and prepare for an evening that celebrates fashion with a conscience. Refreshments will be available before the show and during the interval. We won't have a bar, but you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks. We look forward to seeing you there!
